Yu-Gi-OH! Duel Links is a multi-platform, cross-platform and free to play online card game, developed by Sega. The game's title is probably taken from the duel links system featured in the Yu-gi-oh! anime series and movie. The first reveal of Yu-Gi-OH! Duel Links was at Jump Festa this year.
Yu-Gi-OH! Duel Links offers a single player and multi-player mode. Players have the choice between either a single player or multi-player mode. Each mode has different challenges and rewards. The single player mode can be played against one opponent or against a computer, while the multi-player mode allows the players to compete with each other online.
In Yu-Gi-OH! Duel Links, players start the game with five (5) cards. After they draw these cards from the deck, they then have to battle their opponents to see who will emerge victorious. The cards in the player's deck are reorganized into their face up piles. These are known as the Face Up piles and contain the following: monsters, energy, spells, trap cards, and treasures. When an opponent takes control of one of these face up piles, that player loses. Once the player wins a battle against an opponent, that player gains one of the cards in his/her Deck that are face up.
